When people think of Las Vegas, they typically imagine casinos, gambling and theatres. If you venture a few blocks north from the strip however, you will discover an entirely different side – full of street art and graffiti.
Phillip Limon of ISI Group Project Manager provides us with insight into one of the most striking and innovative street art installations at Palms Casino Resort’s Brenden Theatres – as well as providing information about an upcoming documentary documenting this mural gallery’s creation process.
1. Behind Closed Doors by D*Face
British Urban Contemporary artist D*Face drew his inspiration for his vibrant style from skate graphics and magazine covers, with his murals adding an artistic flourish to downtown Las Vegas.
Hense blends graffiti techniques with formal training to produce large-scale, disorienting abstractions that draw on his graffiti roots. His dense mix of vibrant hues and zigzagging patterns nearly disintegrates into chaos but remains organized thanks to jazzy rhythms and subtle rhymes.
2. Love Forever by D*Face
D*Face is renowned artist known for creating murals around the world. His vibrant pieces bring joy and amazement. You can view his latest piece along North Seventh Street near El Cortez Hotel and Casino.
D*Face (aka Dean Stockton) began his career in London during the late ’90s by hand-painting stickers and posters by night under cover of darkness. His creative process draws influence from pop art, New York subway graffiti art, and skate culture.
3. Love Forever II by D*Face
D*Face’s Love Forever II mural can be found along N 7th Street near El Cortez Hotel and Casino and it will make an immediate impactful statement about loneliness in modern society. You cannot fail to notice its deep and thoughtful message.

4. Love Forever III by D*Face
Dean Stockton (known as D*Face) created this stunning mural during a visit to Los Angeles for an exciting solo exhibition at Corey Helford Gallery.
D*Face is well known for his unmistakable graffiti, stickers and posters found throughout cities worldwide. Recurring images of celebrities, punk iconography and consumer behavior serve to define his unique graphic style.
5. Love Forever IV by D*Face
D*Face (Dean Stockton) uses imagery of celebrities and punk iconography from pop culture to produce his satirical take on consumer culture. D*Face draws his inspiration from sources as varied as pop art, early New York subway graffiti and Shepard Fairey’s Obey campaign.
D*Face is an internationally acclaimed street artist who is best known for his unmistakable graffiti, stickers and posters found all over the globe. This same anarchic energy can also be found in his gallery works.
8. Love Forever VII by D*Face
D*Face’s recent murals in Fremont Street offer strong sexual overtones, likening them to comic book damsels in distress. Situated across from El Cortez Hotel and Casino, they also provide lots of creative photo opps.
Street art holds an iconic place in Las Vegas, evidenced by its growing collection and subsequent publication in a new book.
9. Love Forever VIII by D*Face
D*Face (Dean Stockton), is an internationally renowned street artist best known for his vibrant pop art. After studying illustration and design, he took to street work. Influences for his street works included New York subway graffiti as well as skate deck designs from skate parks around New York.
This mural was created for 2015’s Life is Beautiful festival on Fremont Street and depicts a damsel in distress who may lead to many different interpretations.
